According to USA Today, Bushrod will sign a one-day contract with the Saints and announce his retirement during their preseason finale against the Dolphins on Thursday night. A fourth-round pick by the Saints in 2007, Bushrod played his first six seasons in New Orleans, making the Pro Bowl in 2011 and 2012. He started 14 games at left tackle for the Saints’ Super Bowl championship team in 2009.
