Ahead of a speech this evening, in which Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to lay out the next steps of Britain’s COVID-19 response, Johnson launched a new slogan telling the public to “stay alert, control the virus, save lives”. The “stay alert” slogan has been criticized by shadow health secretary Jonathan Ashworth of the Labour party, who warned people might be “puzzled” by the change. However, Robert Jenrick appeared on the BBC’s Andrew Marr show to claim that “it was the right moment to update and to broaden the message”....

Senior civil servant Sue Gray published an interim and redacted 12-page report regarding parties facilitated by government officials during the lockdown that “should not have been allowed to take place.” Gray’s report did not criticize the prime minister, concluding “there is significant learning to be drawn from these events which must be addressed immediately across government”, according to the Associated Press. The report also noted the behavior was “difficult to justify” as the government asked its citizens to adjust their behavior and lives around the imposed restrictions....

In response, the Saudis upped production and flooded the market with oil, hoping the sudden crash in prices would hurt Moscow enough to force compliance....

U.S. personnel worldwide have recently reported more cases of symptoms related to Havana Syndrome, such as headaches, nausea and dizziness. Speaking to media, Antonov criticized the West for supplying Ukraine with weapons according to a Google-translated Telegram post.
