Both teams started the game well by keeping the ball and switching the play. To say the game was physical would be an understatement, but most of the tackles were clean and the referee was more than happy to let the game flow. The BBC said the country’s Home Office department is preparing new guidance for police in regards to decisions around gun applications, which will include advice for police on how to check social media accounts for anyone wanting to own a firearm or shotgun. The new guidance will reportedly also apply to revising existing permits. The move comes after Jake Davison, 22, shot and killed five people, including his mother and a three-year-old girl, on Thursday in the town of Plymouth in southwest England....

In a resolution approved unanimously by the U.N. Security Council Friday, Taliban rulers were told they need to establish a new government that has “the full, equal and meaningful participation of women” and upholds human rights. The Taliban have promised an inclusive government and more moderate rule than their previous rule of Afghanistan from 1996 to 2001, but skepticism remains high. The USA came out looking strong and appeared to do a strong job controlling possession. Christian Pulisic had an early shot at scoring a goal, but fired it right at the keeper for the stop. Twitter called the behavior “abhorrent racial abuse”, and said it has no place on the social media platform. In addition to the over 1,000 tweets removed, Twitter said it also permanently suspended accounts for violating the Twitter rules. “We will continue to take action,” Twitter said, “when we identify any tweets or accounts that violate our policies.” Twitter was joined in the fight to remove the comments from social media....

A Twitter spokesperson confirmed to Newsweek that the video had been restricted due a valid claim under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, citing a request from Sam Koolaq, a California lawyer specializing in copyrights and trademarks for the entertainment industry. “My client is very talented, so I can understand why the President chose to use their work as part of his re-election efforts,” Koolaq said in a statement to Newsweek....
