The Wizardry Course of Two Point Campus is packed full of the magic and mayhem that one would expect of Hogwarts without the Harry Potter license. Players will be building their own school, surrounded by giant castle walls and with a proper courtyard and statue at its center. Rooms for teaching potioncraft, magical dueling, and seeing the future are teased, as are strange auditoriums, sitting rooms, and cafeterias each with their own mystical flair.

The Wizardry Course is still a school, after all, and while the Harry Potter books never had to detail all the minute details of thousands of students and their general wellbeing, Two Point Campus does. That means that there have to be bathrooms, lockers in the hallways, trash cans, and actual staff to handle upkeep and maintenance rather than a slave class of house-elves. All will be available for players to take responsibility for, of course.

Two Point Campus’ trailer does take the time to show some of the finer elements of the Wizardry Course, too. Decorations that can be placed on walls, like paintings of the school’s staff, or ornaments for the gardens, like odd runestones of power, are just a few examples of what players will be able to place at their leisure. Atmosphere may not be an objective, but it is what makes playing Two Point’s games so special.

This isn’t necessarily the first time that Two Point Studios has mentioned a magical course for Two Point Campus. Many different courses have been teased and touched on already. This is simply the first close look at the Wizardry Course that’s been shared. Odds are, more videos will follow for the rest of Two Point Campus’ courses.

A large part of what makes the upcoming release of Two Point Campus so exciting is the diverse range of themes to be included. There are hints of a cooking theme, a clown theme, a medieval theme, and now a magical theme, too. Two Point Campus is all but certain to be a dramatic step forward from Two Point Hospital. Expect to hear more about the upcoming sim game soon.

Two Point Campus arrives August 9 on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
