In a video posted during the NBA Draft, Lawson appears to be hanging out and smoking hookah with friends. When commissioner Adam Silver announced the Nuggets selected Emmanuel Mudiay with the No. 7 pick, Lawson reacts by saying he’s “going to Sacramento.”

Could George Karl be organizing a reunion party with Lawson? Was the decision to draft Mudiay made by Denver with a Lawson trade in mind? There’s no way to know with all of the chaos surrounding the Kings at the moment.
We do know Lawson is taking the news in stride. The hookah could be helping.
