Ty Lawson Surprises Reddit Users With Signed Nuggets Gear

Although Lawson had been verified by the moderators, one commentor didn’t think it was really Lawson, which prompted the Nuggets guard to shoot back with a video from the team YouTube page.

Still in contact with the NBA subreddit, Lawson then posted a video of Arron Afflalo helping him sign materials as he prepared to send them off for the exchange. On Monday, Lawson’s gift exchange buddy received his package and posted all the goodies to the site.

The package included a headband – which Lawson is known for wearing – as well as a signed Afflalo jersey and a personal note from Lawson himself. This, along with Ekpe’s Book Club, might be one of the cooler ways an NBA player has interacted directly with a fan.
