Three of Jones' visits will be taken with Jahlil Okafor, his close friend and the nation's consensus No. 1 prospect in the country, and those are the ones to Baylor, Kansas and Duke. Jones and Okafor have repeatedly said that they would love the chance to play on the same team in college.

What is odd is why Jones' visit to Kentucky does not coincide with Okafor's, who will visit Lexington on Sept. 9. Maybe it's something as simple as a scheduling conflict. Or something more telling like if either player decides to go off on his own, maybe that place will be Kentucky.

Okafor's father said last week that neither player has an idea where they'll be going to school. But once the November signing period comes, they are likely to have their decision(s) then.
